I like that I can make music. I like that I can learn music, that I would be able to play something so amazing with my own hands. Playing the piano lets me escape from the thoughts I drown in, lets me enjoy that moment of time. I could do something; I was capable enough to do something. Music is a form of art, seen by the ears and heard by the soul. I could create such music so that I could bring joy to myself and the audience. Every new piece I’ve delved into taught me something, and I got close to it. I was so happy to be able to make art.

With music, I’ve seen people smile, not excluding myself, and that was a precious thing. I wouldn’t say I’m precocious, but I felt close to the piano when playing it; it was an instrument that I liked, that I’ve grown to know. And since an early age, I’ve loved piano time, and enjoyed it.

While under the guidance of my music instructor Mr. Hanspeter, I was able to significantly improve in my playing skills, sight reading, and knowledge of music theory. I learnt how to play the piano better, how to understand the music more, symbols and signs on the paper and what they represented.

During the years I went to the Westchase Music School, I’ve developed a fond memory that will remain with me as I continue to play the piano. And that will be for a long time. Personally, I think I’m pretty decent at the piano, so I am interested to find out what I will learn next.

Currently working on:
