Ezana Demissie

Ezana is a very talented student. He practices every day with his own initiative. He is very good at empathizing with a piece of music and bringing it out to its best. Let’s see what he says about himself:

I started playing piano at Westchase Music School 5 years ago and I’ve progressed a lot. With the kind and helpful guidance of Mr. Hanspeter I have gotten a lot better. Five years ago, when I started piano, the reason I started was because I thought it would be a fun instrument to learn. I am very glad I decided to learn piano because the piano has helped me do many things. Before, I started to play piano, I actually wanted to play the violin and even today I still play the violin.

Mr. Hanspeter has helped me play many challenging classical songs. My parents also always encourage me when I play, and they always listen when I tell them to. Piano isn’t just about practicing for 1 hour and that’s it, it’s about having fun. When I practice my piano, I always freestyle and improvise. In conclusion, playing piano is a really fun experience and I’m glad that I chose to do it. I am also grateful for the people who encouraged me and believed in me.
