I’ve been learning to play the piano at westchase school of music for nearly 5 years, starting in second grade. I’ve been studying with Mr. Hanspeter for almost 2 years, and thanks to his expertise, experience, constructive criticism, and methods, I’ve grown tremendously as a musician and pianist.

I’ve always had a passion for music since I was little, and throughout my life, my involvement in making music has grown. I was in my elementary school band as a pianist and lead singer, which helped me learn how to perform with others in front of large crowds. I’ve also been apart of the Farnell Middle School choir since 2024, as well as my schools Vocal Ensemble, which is the most advanced chorus that my school offers, and I was an alto in the 2025-2026 All-County Choir. Outside of music, I also love  drawing and making crafts out of the materials I have around me. I am also in my school’s math and chess clubs, both have helped me build a sense of community.

I hope that in the future, I can use everything I’ve learned from Mr. Hanspeter, as well as everything else I learn about music, to pursue my lifelong passion.
